D-4-1 is a language training visa for studying Korean at university-affiliated language institutes, while D-2 is for regular degree programs (bachelor's, master's, doctoral). Many students start with D-4-1 and later convert to D-2.
D-4-6 is for vocational and technical training (welding, industrial painting, automotive repair, baking & pastry etc.) at government-approved private institutions, while D-4-7 is for foreign language training (English, Chinese, etc.) at university-affiliated institutes. D-4-6 allows conversion to E-7 work visa after completion.
Yes, absolutely! You can enter Korea with a D-4-1 language training visa, learn Korean, and then progress to a D-2 degree program once you've achieved sufficient proficiency.
Typically, document preparation takes 2-4 weeks and embassy processing takes another 2-4 weeks, totaling 1-2 months. We minimize delays by ensuring all documents are complete and accurate.
After training(or studying), we provide guidance on realistic next steps, including career pathway planning and discussion of potential employment routes aligned with your field and eligibility under current regulations.
